Families F1rst is a client driven Self-Sufficiency Program in which DCTS work with individuals and families one -on- one to becoming self-sufficient. We educate clients about the importance of money management, self-care, and assist with finding community resources to help overcome barriers that hinder growth.
Focus areas Include, but are not limited to :
keeping our youth in school,
mentoring to adults & youth
career readiness & staying employed
tutoring
monthly food vouchers & marketplace shopping.
Participants may be referred by the Courts, Department of Social Services or from Other Agencies .
